The season’s final concert will feature the Chamber and Concert Choirs joined by the Community Chorale in a diverse concert of music. From the folk songs of American roots to European great masters, this concert will be a choral journey ending in a salute to Broadway with medleys from “Les Mis” and “Guys and Dolls.”

The choral ensembles of the Music Department offer a wide range of musical opportunities for interested students and community members. All students are welcome and do not need to be music majors to participate in ensembles, although some groups are by audition only. The evening Community Chorale meets on Monday evening during the academic year. During the day, the Concert Choir meets MWF at 11:00 A.M. and is open to any Shasta College student. The Vocal Jazz Ensemble, and Chamber Choir are auditioned ensembles meeting on Monday & Wednesday afternoon and Tuesday & Thursday afternoon, respectively.
