Magazine and Newspaper Articles: Access to over 4 million magazine and newspaper articles is available via the Library's Articles & Databases link. Most of the searchable online databases contain full-text articles and cover a myriad of subjects. When you locate an article, options are provided to print or e-mail (and in some cases, download) that article. Online access is available anytime to registered students. Books: More than 70,000 books (and other materials) are housed in our collection. Come in and search the Library's collections via the Library Catalog or browse the stacks, find a book, and relax in one of our comfy chairs.
Best Sellers: Featuring a revolving collection of popular fiction and non-fiction books for check out to our patrons.
Online eBooks: Over 24,000 electronic books are available 24/7 through the Library's Web page. Go to Online eBooks to get started.
Streaming Video: Enjoy the convenience of video available 24/7 through the Library's Web page. Go to Streaming Video to get started.
Videos/DVD's: More than 4,800 videos and DVD's are housed in our collection, searchable online via the Library Catalog. Registered Shasta College students may select a title to view in the Library on one of our videotape/DVD players or enjoy a two-day checkout.
Internet Resources: Although the Internet contains much good information, numerous Web sites are unreliable. Fortunately, many excellent guides and resources are designed to help you critically evaluate Web pages as well as become more "Net-Saavy." The Library's Research Help page is a good place to start.

Virtual Access: Most Library resources are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week via the Web site.
Reference Desk Assistance: Reference Staff is always available to assist with research and other questions during open Library hours.

Interlibrary Loan: ILL is a service provided for acquiring materials not owned by the Shasta College Library. Typically there is no cost for this service, however it often takes up to two weeks to receive requested items. Get started by completing an ILL Request.
Library Staff: There are currently 14 Library staff members who can assist you with your research and other information needs.
