Group Study Rooms  

Looking for a quiet place to study?  

Five study rooms are available:

  • Shasta 
  • Tehama
  • Trinity
  • Aspen
  • Cedar

-You must have your valid library card with no outstanding fines to check out a room. 

-Rooms may be reserved for future use or checked out on-the-spot.

-All rooms feature VHS/DVD players and TVs. They also have video cables available to connect a laptop to the TV display.

-Most rooms also have dry erase boards. Markers and erasers are available for checkout at the circulation desk.

-Rooms are checked out for a two hour period. (late returns will incur fines at 25¢/hr)

Students are asked to abide by the following room usage policy:

  • Food and drinks are not permitted in the study room.
  • Although the rooms have doors, please be aware that excessive noise can carry into the main library.
  • Patrons are required to adhere to Shasta College policies regarding conduct and equipment use.
  • Patrons not following these policies may be asked to leave the study room.
